Ridgewood NJ, the Ridgewood Board of Education will hold a public meeting on Monday, December 16, 2024, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Ridgewood Education Center, located at 49 Cottage Place, Ridgewood, NJ 07450.
What to Expect at the Meeting
During the session, official action may be taken, including the potential for executive sessions to discuss topics permitted by law to be addressed privately. These topics may include:
- Negotiations
- Personnel matters
- Security
- Real estate transactions
- Litigation
- Investments
- Residency hearings
- Harassment, Intimidation, and Bullying hearings
If necessary, the Board may reconvene in public session to take formal action following any executive session.
Opportunities for Public Participation
Public comments are a key part of the meeting and are typically held:
- At the beginning of the meeting
- Just before adjournment
The presiding officer may allow for additional comment opportunities as needed.

Executive Sessions
