Ridgewood NJ, newly elected Ridgewood Board of Education member Saurabh Dani has announced that he will no longer be group administrator for Ridgewood Moms and Dads With Free Speech and It Takes a Ridgewood Village. The announcement was made in both Facebook groups on Saturday June 6th .
Hello Ridgewood Moms and Dads With Free Speech
As I am an elected member of the Ridgewood BOE now, I have decided to take a break from being an admin of this group. This will ensure that I am not hindering any discussions related to BOE issues, and members here will be able to keep it ‘free speech’ without worrying that a BOE member is moderating this group.
Also, since moderating a Facebook group takes up some time, I think I can utilize this time in learning BOE business and get better at doing that job.

Saurabh, as administrator of these FB groups, did you ever confirm if Christina Abadi was a Ridgewood resident as per your rules for the group? FB has a policy of using real identity as part of their community standards to prevent the spreading of false or potentially politically or otherwise motivated posts.
