Ridgewood debates parking meter changes

Ridgewood officials and members of the business community are still mulling over potential changes to downtown parking meters and whether or not coin-fed machines should become a thing of the past.
Village Council members recently suggested that time limits on parking meters along Central Business District (CBD) side streets as well as Franklin Avenue should be extended from two to three hours. They also recommended that meters on East Ridgewood Avenue remain at a two-hour limit.
