Paramus NJ, several of Ridgewood Fire Department members recently took a stroll through the brand-new Valley Hospital in Paramus! The department gained an invaluable opportunity for us to familiarize ourselves with the layout and facilities, ensuring we’re always prepared to serve our community effectively. From emergency routes to key locations, every step counts towards keeping people safe!
On April 14, The Valley Hospital in Paramus will open its doors and Valley’s Ridgewood campus will officially transition into an outpatient healthcare destination to be called Valley Health System – Ridgewood Campus.
As of 6 a.m. on Sunday, April 14, The Valley Hospital Emergency Department in Ridgewood (223 North Van Dien Ave., Ridgewood) will permanently close. Anyone needing emergency care from 6 a.m. on should come to The Valley Hospital in Paramus (4 Valley Health Plaza, Paramus, but for GPS, use 650 Winters Ave., Paramus), where our teams will be ready to provide emergency care.
To ensure a safe and organized move, visiting hours will be modified in both Ridgewood and Paramus on April 14. Should you need to visit a patient on or around the day of our move, please visit
www.ValleyHealth.com/VisitingHours.

Why not show up in uniform…make a good impression.
Just my $0.02.
Wtf are they doing in Paramus??
Oh that’s right the Paramus volunteers are giving them lessons.
Yes so true.
I guess they had to be torn away from Stop& Shop
And speaking of stop and shop why are they shopping so far from ridgewood s stop&shop. We see them in a town owned suv up in towns far from ridgewood. Stay in ridgewood.
They need to be gone altogether. Over paid / over pensioned union layabouts.
I have fire insurance for a reason.
I hope you have life insurance too! Kids I the house? Guess you don’t give a damn about them?
sounds like you failed the test… loser
your fire insurance is cheaper for a reason as the response time is the key to saving your house instead of your foundation
Truly a dumb, stupid, and immature post. Some of you people (yes, YOU people) are profoundly sad human beings.
