Ridgewood NJ, Ridgewood Fire Department executed a full platoon recall in connection with a residential structure fire located in the 200 block of South Van Dien Avenue late Wednesday afternoon, 11/13. No injuries were reported to either the home’s occupants or firefighters in the blaze, which reportedly originated in a clothes dryer and extended to a small portion of the structure. Ridgewood Police and Ridgewood Emergency Services personnel also responded to the incident.

Ban all clothes.
.
If one clothes dryer could be saved it would be all worth it…

RFD…saved another basement.
Great job for the over paid over pensioned layabouts.
Time to disband the criminals.
I have fire insurance so I don’t need a civil servant making 100K + a year off of my tax dime that’s already completely outrageous in Ridgewood.

Here’s an idea Knucklehead, MOVE. There are many other towns you can move to so you can save a few quarters in your property taxes. I and the majority of Ridgewood Residents support and appreciate our Career Firefighters. I bet you are one of those people who want everyone else to volunteer so you can add to your already very deep pockets. You disgust me.
RFD… not a knucklehead, just an anonymous loser coward…
GREAT JOB DONE BY THE RIDGEWOOD FIRE DEPARTMENT YOU CALL THEY COME
NO QUESTIONS ASKED THEY DO A FANTASTIC JOB WELL TRAINED GROUP
Great work by the wonderful RFD, they save our home as far as I’m concerned. Thank you!
As far as I’m concerned the RFD did an amazing job at preventing what would otherwise be a disaster for my family. Thank you for responding so quickly and thank you for putting out the fire.
