Ridgewood NJ, according to Village Manager Keith Kazmark , the Village of Ridgewood signed an updated FMBA Local 47 collective bargaining agreement at Village Hall. It’s a fair contact for both our professional firefighters and for the taxpayers of Ridgewood. To all the members of the Ridgewood Fire Department, thank you for your service to our community and stay safe!
The New Jersey Firefighters Mutual Benevolent Association, NJ FMBA, is a labor union representing over 5000 career firefighters, EMT’s, and dispatchers across the State of New Jersey. So how much is this going to cost us? As there are no details, I think we will all need a little lube.
Police and fire budgets are ridiculous, they take all the money. There’s no money for the rest of us.
Oh yes, thumbs up, the police and fire budgets hand. And every year they’re looking to take money from all the budgets for their overtime. It’s bullshit. This is been going on for a long time. How about the Village manager posting exactly what the overtime budget is each department. Yeah I think you wouldn’t be putting thumbs down you’ll be putting thumbs up right up your ass.
Cost to taxpayer
9 million
For what?????????????????
