Ridgewood NJ, on the evening of March 11, 2025, the Ridgewood Professional Firefighters FMBA Local 47 swiftly responded to a fire alarm activation at a large mixed-occupancy building located at Maple and East Ridgewood Avenue.

Upon arrival, Engine 35’s crew discovered a significant smoke condition inside an upstairs apartment. Firefighters quickly assessed the situation, took necessary action to rectify the issue, and effectively ventilated the apartment, ensuring the safety of all occupants.
