The restaurant, which opened with four-star chef Anthony Bucco, had planned on a rooftop bar from Day One but delays, COVID-19 struck and the restaurant itself closed for months. Then Bucco left in October, and  he was replaced by Flavia Amaral, who had been the executive chef of Let’s Meat Steakhouse in River Vale. Carlos Valdez, who replaced Amaral at Let’s Meat, is now the executive chef at Felina.

At first La Terrazza’s bar, will specialize in rosé wines and frosé drinks,  and the kitchen will offer pizzas and light bites. Eventually, meals will be served on the rooftop as well.

The rooftop bar will be open Wednesday through Sunday, as is Felina. It’s first come, first served.

La Terrazza is at 8 Prospect St., Ridgewood; 551-276-5454, felinarestaurant.com.

    1. This is crazy.

  3. That’s what they should do to the parking garage, turn one floor into a catering hall, who would vote that down plenty of parking. All they need is one floor, thank about it.

    1. All they need is one floor, electrical, plumbing, insulation, windows, bathrooms, kitchens, accessability for handicapped and wrinklies…..a savvy investor would rather build from the ground up.

  4. Why do I think this is going to end badly?

  5. First take over the street for rent free dining space.
When that is coming to an end, move on to rent free dining space on the roof.

  6. Who say’s the landlord is giving the space rent free, I doubt it. Ridgewood landlords give nothing for free, Also the windows across the street are not apartments they are mostly offices.
