Ridgewood High School athletics had a fantastic fall season!

Ridgewood NJ, Ridgewood High School athletics had a fantastic fall season! Congratulations to all of the RHS athletes and coaches.
Recent Highlights:

  • 35 RHS seniors committed to play a sport at the college level.
  • For the third consecutive year, Ridgewood High School earned the NJSIAA Sportsmanship Award.
  • Girls gymnastics won their League Championship.
  • Boys and girls cross country won the Bergen County Meet of Champions for the 4th year in a row. This is the 33rd BMOC title for the girls and the 17th for the boys.
  • Girls soccer won the State Sectional title. The last time they won Sectionals was in 1997.
  • Girls volleyball won the State Sectional title for the second consecutive year.
  • Girls cross country won the State Sectional title.

  2. Ridgewood’s best girl runner skipped the season. She probably would have been the 2nd best runner in NJ.

  3. Probably 3rd best, but still…
    It’s unfortunate she didn’t compete with the HS because they likely would have won nationals.

  4. These young men and women must be doing a good job avoiding distractions or dissipation. Otherwise, it stands to reason that these brilliant distinctions would have been out of their individual and collective reach. Well done, students (and their parents and coaches)!
