Does anyone know who is paying for that huge electronic billboard ad in on Route 17 in Rochelle Park advertising the “Ridgewood Pedestrian Plaza” I’ve driven by ot a few times and seen it and wondered.
Or the commercials on tv
I put it in the Budget, the residents of Ridgewood are !
As is often the case, when you actually visit a location on one of those lists, you are invariably disappointed.
This experience is no different.
True 50+ years ago when I moved here, when downtown was wonderful, before lovely old homes were torn down and replaced by hideous cookie-cutter spec jobs, endless wings and add-ons and pools creeping too close to the edges of property thanks to lax oversight by the Zoning Board, apartments cramming the town with a population we can’t support, the takeover of parks by ballfield detritus, greatly increased traffic, deteriorated water quality that was once wonderful from wells, degradation of school quality (new superintendent is embarrassing), certain council members rapaciously out for themselves, village staff who are clueless or worse and should have been replaced decades ago . . . and much more.
Library in a beautiful historic building? That 1962 monstrosity? They must be referring to Pease, long ago handed over to Bolger. This information is decades out of date.
Hey y’all – Instead of your anonymous whining, bitching and complaining – why not just move????
You got a betta place to go to , maybe everyone on this Bitch Blog will go with you !
Make my day !
Bye 😘
You just can’t make this shit up. An anonymous Texas transplant who’s trying to justify their move here and has realized their grave mistake takes to the blog and ” bitches” about us bitching anonymously and wants us to move! Brilliant! I’ll get right on that…
Y’ALL

so said the anoymous loser “blogger”
I’m suggesting this Blog conduct a small test, ie
Declare next week that anonymous postings will not be allowed.
Wondering how many folks will have the nerve to put their first and last name on the garbage they post.
BTW, is this how you raise your children?
You used to be able to openly state your opinion, even if it was a contrary one.
Why should anyone do this today, when the price of trying to have an honest discussion of an issue is political harassment?
The wokes have gotten what they asked for, they should be happy.
