RIDGEWOOD — A 25-year-old village man has been charged with possession of a half–pound of marijuana with the intent to distribute the drug, authorities said Wednesday.
Acting Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal said police had seen Joel T. Schwartz selling marijuana on multiple occasions from his home on Hunter Road, and as a result of the observations a search warrant was obtained. When detectives executed the search warrant at Schwartz’s residence on Tuesday, Grewal said in a release, they discovered and seized the marijuana, which he said was valued at more than $13,500.
