RIDGEWOOD — A citizens committee could soon be formed to provide financial and budget advice to the Village Council, according to officials.
Mayor Paul Aronsohn has given the council an outline of the possible duties and expectations of an advisory committee.
The panel would comprise seven residents with backgrounds in business, as well as a member of the Village Council and possibly one from the Board of Education. It would meet monthly and provide its insights and recommendations throughout the year as issues arise and as the council deems needed.
It’s about time someone other than the folks running things the last few years are going to keep an eye on things. The village has been on a downward spiral and someone needs to straighten the mess out
I hope they do a better job than the tiger team that was quite load of one way bs.
Could a member of the Tiger Team please ask Mayor Paul Aronsohn how it is financially beneficial to the taxpayers of Ridgewood to take a pass on a $90,000 savings windfall or why he would see fit to pay out $5,000 in legal fees that were not part of a previously settled judgement…….that’s right Ridgewood, $95,000 of your hard-earned dollars straigt down the crapper!
