The gap continues to narrow , as the vote counting continue . “Yes” means Ridgewood residents give up their right to vote of the Ridgewood School budget.
I think the 7143 are confused. Why would anyone give up that right. Can you imagine what the budgets going to be in the future. Yes I do , out of control.

My ballot accepted but was not counted yet according to NJ tracking site. How to find out if they counted our question ballot? Which has greater impact with such few voting.

I think that people voting yes do not understand they lose the right to approve the budget. The “Vote Yes” people have deliberately communicated a misleading (if not false) message that voting yes to move the vote does not mean you lose the ability to approve the budget. This is a crafty and sneaky slight of hand that relies on the conditional aspect of the budget approval that only here at the Ridgewood Blog has been correctly explained. Now the budget approval is lost. So now we have a bunch of people voting yes, thinking it only means to move the vote to November, not realizing it means they also lose budget approval. Deliberate and sneaky lie.
You never ever give up power to vote. It’s the stupidest thing you can do. If this passes they can do whatever the hell they want. And the taxes will be just one big runaway train. If you think it’s bad now in five years you’ll be pushed right out of Ridgewood .
The formulating of the question was super sneaky. Very hard to understand. My wife almost checked Yes. Whoever worded the question is a genius. I bet most of those who voted Yes didn’t mean to do it. We got screwed again.
Doesn’t matter if you vote down the budget, it eventually gets passed anyway
