Ridgewood NJ, Mayor and Council Majority continue to ignore facts at taxpayers expense. A pattern emerges in Ridgewood like never before. Ignore facts, no impact studies, misuse of tax funds, misinformation and gross negligence is really going to sink more than just another turf field.

  1. Holy shit…they put a sign up!

    1. signs been up since the previous mayor

  2. They refuse to look past the tip of their own nose and pockets. The field plan will be another epic fail to add to their record. #recallpaul

    1. I thought it was this beautiful bucolic park with birds and trees for everybody to enjoy?!??!? Oh wait, it is a piece of crap land on one of the most traveled, busiest, retail hyway’s on the entire earth with a falling down, run down crappy old house in disrepair of no historical significance.
It is only worth something for it’s commercial value. Sell sell sell Mortimer.

  4. Book mark this post for when the turf field is built and floats down 17 after the first big storm

  5. Fact check every single thing done and said by the VOR council majority and engineers.

  6. James keep the pressure on…..always remember that cockroaches run from the light !

  7. Yes, it does flood. Residents in that community have been screaming this from the rooftops. Chris R, the Village Engineer said that floor insurance was not required on the property because he said it wasn’t in a flood zone, however this is not true and there is flood insurance with his signature on it!! The Mayor and majority block council members (Pam, Siobahn and Evan) are not the only ones who are lying to keep the flooding a secret. But now everyone reading this knows!

    1. That document specifically states it is not in a flood zone. Unless I am missing some other document.

  8. sell this crappy property already. I want a WaWa and a gas station.

  9. The Preserved sign is rather hilarious. It should list the following:
Preserved so we could qualify for a grant.
Moved so we could make room for a ball field.

Don’t get sidetracked about soggy ground. The fight is in Trenton and the Courts.

  10. What is Jim Morgans skin in this game?
Former BOE, Kids are grown, doesn’t live in that area, not an engineer, architect or historian…….

    1. His email was to Siobahn. Maybe she asked him to go for a look see.

    2. someone did an OPRA and read it into public comments. He took the initiative to investigate and said it was boggy! They will pretend that it doesn’t flood because that would then cause issues, so it is easier to sweep it under the rug like they do with everything else. Just like Paul thanking the historic consultant for being thorough, when he essentially did very little for almost $7K.

  11. Jimmy is a little self-righteous….

This new manager needs to clean house.

    1. That would be great. Put Nancy Bigios on that list right after the engineer

  13. The Village Engineer has been BSing for the longest time. He is finally getting caught in his lies. He directed activities over on the Schedler property in a very sneaky manner saying that he didn’t know he needed State approval prior to cutting down trees, building the berm and putting in a water filtration system. In addition to that, many companies trucked in dirt, where did all of that come from? Even though they said they tested it, it may still be toxic.

  14. If there is a real “King of Con” it is our Mayor and the majority block of this current council (Pam, Evan and Siobahn).

    1. And the historic consultant, Mr. Primavera! Who read a few documents and called no one! Great way to spend almost $7k.

  15. Village Engineer should have been fired when $850k in quarters were stolen on his watch, or lack there of. He should have been fired when he filed unapproved plans to SHPO. He should have been fired when he was caught violating grant funding and lying with designs. He should have been fired when he destroyed Schedler land without oversight or approvals. He should have been FIRED FIRED FIRED but Heather never had backbone. Kazmark?!!!!

    1. And what he did on Hillcrest road and to Habernickel park and the neighbors

  16. There are a million reasons related to the environment along with health and safety that make this property 100% wrong for a ball field, not to mention that it floods after every rain storm. It will be toxic, noisy and the kiddies won’t be happy and will then move on except the damage to the property will already have been done. The mayor and the other majority block bad actors need to fall on their sword and give up this ludicrous plan before someone gets hurt or worse. It just doesn’t make sense on any level and these idiots are running around spending good amounts of our hard earned tax dollars with this charade.

  17. Haha, Mr. RBSA you will be doing a lot more than vacuuming up a field from particulates and pollutionf so start looking for another place to play.
