  1. Hogwash.

  2. ALWAYS look at the criteria and methodology …

“Niche Best School Districts” only places 50% weight on Academics and part of that is subjective (student and parent surveys). Most are soft/subjective factors and some have no bearing on student performance. Most of the ranking is based on an opinion poll and how well they implement the liberal social agenda.

Here is the rest of their criteria:

50% – Academics – based on Test scores AND Student/Parent Surveys

15% – Teachers based on Teacher Salary, teacher absenteeism and Student/Parent Surveys

10% – Culture and Diversity based on Racial and economic diversity

10% – Parent/Student Surveys based on “overall experience”

5% – Health and Safety based on student absenteeism/suspensions/expulsions and the ever present parent/student survey

5% – Resources and Facilities based on expenses per student and of course “surveys”

2.5% – Clubs and Activitiesbased on expenses per student and “surveys”

2.5% – Sports based on quantity of and participation in sports and surveys

  3. I am a parent and I did not receive any survey?
