Ridgewood NJ, A light pole was toppled during a multi-vehicle crash on Route 17 southbound near Linwood Avenue, Ridgewood early Tuesday evening, 02/12. At least one (1) vehicle was removed from the scene by a flatbed tow truck. No injuries were reported following the crash. Ridgewood Police officers and Ridgewood Emergency Services personnel responded to the incident .
Probably no snow tires. Driving too fast.
Well can decide are we submitting a bill to Bergen county or the state police for responding to a call again on a state highway. We just don’t understand why local miss a polity’s are patrolling Highway is when it’s a state highway state police in Bergen county should be doing their job. If someone else knows please explain
