Ridgewood NJ, A utility pole became unstable on Wednesday morning, 09/26, as a result of excavation work associated with the construction of a new 7-11 store at 657 Franklin Turnpike, Ridgewood. Ridgewood Police closed portions of Franklin Turnpike, East Glen Avenue, and an entrance/exit ramp to Route 17 southbound until workers from PSE&G were able to replace/stabilize the pole. No injuries were reported in the incident.
The excavating contractor should be sent an invoice for police salaries incurred in connection with the incompetent actions.
BAN ALL UTILITY POLES.
.
LET’S IMPLEMENT A MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR PROJECT TO BURY UTILITY LINES.
.
IT WILL BE ALL WORTH IT IF IT COULD SAVE JUST ONE……

That’s the Deputy Mayor’s son Zach, on the job WORKING for his salary, unlike Paul Aronsohn who got a $122k per year taxpayer funded job from Phil Murphy and has been regularly seen walking around Vets Field during a weekday. And Aronsohn had the chutzpah to try and block Zach Knudsen from being hired.
