Ridgewood Police Department remind you that State buildings to fly flags at half-staff on Friday, May 10
Ridgewood NJ, New Jersey Executive Order No. 131 — Ordering all State buildings to fly flags at half-staff on Friday, May 10, 2013 to honor the service and sacrifice of United States Marine Staff Sergeant Eric Christian, who grew up in Poughkeepsie, New York and Ramsey, New Jersey, and graduated from Ramsey High School, where he held several records in football. Staff Sergeant Christian tragically lost his life while supporting Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.

Staff Sergeant Christian grew up in Ramsey, NJ and graduated from Ramsey High School in 1993. He was a star athlete who shined on the football field. Staff Sergeant Christian tragically lost his life in Afghanistan, where he courageously fought to defend our liberty. May God bless his family and his friends and may he rest in peace.”
