Ridgewood Police Issue Traffic Alert for Monday June 30th. 

Weather permitting, Monday, June 30th from 7:30am to 11:00am, the Village Streets Department will be patching the road at Garber Square. For safety, one lane will be closed during this work. The Police will be monitoring traffic to ensure that the flow in both directions moves. This work is in preparation for the July 4th Parade and holiday festivities. The Complete Streets paving project will not take place until after the July 4th holiday.

  2. but what will happen to that area when the parade is over. any one know what is the deal with the road and the curbs.

  3. How much is this costing on top of the rest of the underpass fiasco? Why didn’t they just stipulate from the start that work would begin on July 5?

  4. #1, you sound kind. You do realize that they broke it though? The street could have been repaved and beautiful for the parade with a lot less fuss and money.

    So when one lane is PERMANENTLY CLOSED will the po;ice be on hand EVERY DAY to ensre that traffic flows smoothly in both directions?

  7. who put the woodchips on the little landing, and did a little bit of sprucing up the area, well it looks good. it’s clean.
