Ridgewood NJ, the Ridgewood Public Library is taking active precautions against coronavirus . On the Facebook page ,” It Takes a Ridgewood Village”  resident Anne LaGrange Loving  mentioned that at Wednesday”s Village council meeting Library Director Nancy Greene  commented on precautions , “Last night Nancy Greene explained to me that the Ridgewood Library is wiping down all high-contact surfaces every two hours with disinfecting wipes. This includes railings, banisters, door handles, table tops, keyboards. She is not under any sort of mandate; she is simply being proactive to keep the library patrons safe. Thank you Nancy Greene.”

  1. Please if anyone is not feeling well do not enter into the library. Put your box in the return drop off. We need to start spraying all these boxes with Lysol. I think about how many kids are Coughing sneezing into these books.

  2. Yes that’s a good idea to start spraying all the books.
    The paper that’s in the box absorb all the sneezing and coughing dirty hands.

  3. The Library and it’s excellent general Staff do a great Job.

    We need a common sense consultant to spread that management into city haul..

  4. Yes they do an excellent job. It’s too bad they didn’t build the parking garage behind the library in Village Hall. It’s warranted and it’s great that it’s used every day.
