Ridgewood NJ, the Ridgewood Public Library mourns the passing of Magical Melodies Chris Flynn.
“We are truly devastated to receive the news of Mr. Chris’s passing. Magical Melodies was a monthly highlight for our young patrons and staff. Chris’s unmatched enthusiasm and energy was a beautiful thing to behold- a room full of children laughing, dancing, and shouting out song requests was a sight to brighten even the cloudiest day. Chris was a beloved performer and friend, and we hope that his legacy of putting smiles on faces will live on. Our thoughts are with his friends and family during this incredibly difficult time.”
Chris brought so much joy, laughter, love and kindness to everyone around him and this is our opportunity to give back and support his family in their time of need.
His children were his world and he described it best in his last post on the Magical Melodies FaceBook page:
If you could look into my heart, this is what you would see. I love these kids more than the entire universe and I love them more with each passing minute.

Such sad news. I didn’t know him well, but could tell he was a really great man. Put all his energy and enthusiasm into his performances at the library and spoke glowingly of his family.
