Ridgewood NJ, Major infrastructure projects are officially underway in Ridgewood, New Jersey, bringing sidewalk repairs, street repaving, and expanded parking to key neighborhoods.
South Pleasant Avenue Road & Sidewalk Improvements
Work has officially begun on comprehensive sidewalk, curb, and roadway enhancements along South Pleasant Avenue, stretching from Grove Street to East Ridgewood Avenue.

Somerville School Priority: Construction in the immediate vicinity of Somerville Elementary School is being prioritized and is scheduled for completion before the new school year begins.

Funding Source: The municipal project is funded in part through a NJDOT Municipal Aid grant, helping defer local taxpayer costs while upgrading vital village infrastructure.
Drivers and pedestrian families near Somerville School are advised to allow extra travel time during active construction hours.
