A start date on or before 5/1/2021 is anticipated

The largest district in Bergen County and known throughout the state and nation for its academic excellence and high student achievement, we serve approximately 5,800 students in 10 schools supported by an $115M+ budget, and an outstanding staff and facilities.

Our highly competitive programs are continually recognized on state and national levels for school and individual achievements which include accolades in academics, the arts, athletics/activities, 5 A+ Niche ratings and a 2020 ranking of New Jersey’s Top School District.

We seek a visionary leader who is equipped to advance the district’s strategic plan, focusing on facets of teaching, learning, culture, community and governance that will foster student achievement. Working collaboratively with staff, families, and the community, the candidate should have a record of demonstrated success in enhancing educational outcomes to prepare students for the future.

The final candidate must hold or immediately be eligible for NJ CSA Certification and will be offered a highly competitive salary package commensurate with experience.
Educational administrative & teaching experience required.

    Bad News: I have every confidence that the replacement will be even worse.

    That’s the way it works in Ridgewood for the past 30 years or so…

  10. They’ll go on another “intergalactic” search and find a loser like Dr. Porter who was from out-of-state and was out of touch and useless. Not a fan of any of their prior attempts, or results of finding a Superintendent.
