Ridgewood Schools : EARLY DISMISSAL TODAY, FEBRUARY 4, 2022

Ridgewood NJ, Winter weather conditions are expected to deteriorate in the afternoon, Friday, February 4. Therefore, all children will be dismissed according to the Emergency Minimum Day Schedule listed below. Cafeterias will not be serving lunch. All after-school activities are canceled.

Students will attend school as follows:
RED Program and REACH PreK: 9:00 a.m.-12:45 a.m.
Grades K-5: 8:45 a.m. – 12:45 p.m.
Grades 6-8: 8:00 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
Grades 9-12: 7:45 a.m. – 12:10 p.m.

    All Village employees get the day off.

  10. Lol. Cold rain. Who do they get their weather advice from? Fire whoever made this call. What a joke. 5000 kids lost 15000 school hours and probably more than that in activities due to rain.
    Clown show.

  11. Can someone explain why all the BOE admins go home early when school is dismissed for weather? That never happens at my job. I thought the point was to get the kids home safely.

  12. Everyone at the BOE’s main office left no later than 1 pm also. What a joke!
