>Ridgewood Schools : What ever happened to the tradition of excellence ?

>First, finally the High School administration admits to the things that their students have been doing without for years. How many of you posters have had high school students? There are years that the students have been sharing books and accessories necessary for their education. To have complained would have been a troublemaker. Parents would look far and wide to find copies of text books so their student would not have to share in order to get work done in a timely fashion. Teachers never seemed to complain either as the books never appeared. The school has done without needed equipment in the sciences for years.

This being said with a budget the size of Ridgewood … there should be no NEEDS in the area of academic education. What is needed to educate to the EXCELLENCE our priorities should be set to ACADEMIC needs… and leave the extracurricular expenses to the participants.
