RIDGEWOOD: STORM UPDATES AND IMPORTANT INFORMATION for VILLAGE RESIDENTS :

– Please be advised 18 – 24 inches of snow is predicted along with high winds beginning tonight and ending Tuesday.
– Due the weather Village offices will be closed Monday February 1 – Village staff will be working remotely and will respond to emails.
– Garbage and recycling are suspended for both Monday and Tuesday and will resume on Wednesday. Bring trash cans to the end of your driveway and continue to do so until you have a clear path for rear yard pick up.
– Overnight street parking is prohibited tonight through Tuesday night and, pending weather, will resume on Wednesday.
– CBD overnight parking permit holders should park on the second floor of the Hudson Street Garage.
– Remember snow must be cleared from sidewalks within 24 hours of snowfall – Kindly clear fire hydrants closest to your property.
– Power outages may occur – DO NOT call the Ridgewood police department – outages should be reported to PSEG at 18004367734 or text OUT to 47734.
– Stay away from all downed wires and power lines.
– Remain off Village roads so plows can properly clear snow.
– Kindly check on elderly and vulnerable neighbors.
