Governor Announces State Offices and Vaccine Mega-Sites Will Remain Closed on Tuesday, February 2nd Due to Winter Storm Orlena

Trenton NJ, Governor Phil Murphy today announced that state offices and all six vaccine mega-sites will remain closed on Tuesday, February 2nd due to Winter Storm Orlena. New Jersey will remain under a state of emergency in response to the winter storm. Snow accumulation for the storm began as of Sunday afternoon, with the heaviest snow expected to continue during the day on Monday, and hazardous conditions to continue through Tuesday afternoon. Executive Order No. 218 declared a state of emergency across all 21 counties in New Jersey, allowing resources to be deployed throughout the state during the duration of the storm.

Ridgewood NJ, the Village of Ridgewood is asking residents to please keep your vehicles off of the streets today , so that our crews can do their work. Overnight parking on February 2nd.   For those with overnight parking permits in the Central Business District, vehicles should be parked on the 2nd floor of the Hudson Street Garage.

Ridgewood NJ, Due to the impending snowstorm in our area, all Ridgewood Public Schools will be closed tomorrow, Monday, February 1, 2021. No virtual classes will be held.  Hazardous conditions related to the aftermath of the storm are expected; therefore, Tuesday, February 2, 2021 will be a full day of remote instruction. Your child’s principal will send building-specific schedules. NJ State Police Urges Residents to Prepare for Upcoming Winter Storm

Ridgewood  NJ, The New Jersey State Police is urging New Jersey residents to prepare for a nor’easter that will affect the entire state. From late Sunday night through Tuesday morning, most of New Jersey will be under a Winter Storm Warning.
