Ridgewood NJ, during last nights  superintendent coffee session ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZLXjGC2HwR4 ), Dr. Schwarz introduced a new communication platform designed for collecting community feedback, known as Thought Exchange.

This platform enables residents to contribute their thoughts, vote, and provide comments on submissions made by other community members.
Dr. Schwarz specifically invited participation to gather insights and suggestions regarding potential solutions for addressing flooding issues at the RPS Athletic Fields. Your thoughtful input on this matter is highly encouraged.

  1. Huh?
    I’m verklempt !

  2. I took the survey but it didn’t give a lot of room for a real opinion to be given. More like 1 or 2 sentences. Yes, please fix the fields but make them grass. We can see that the installation of turf only seeks to serve the turf companies. It is expensive and requires constant replacement and repair. These companies will probably apply pressure to Ridgewood by who cares (unless someone is getting a kickback), it will be a village decision and a BOE decision for the betterment of our children’s health. As many have said before, turf is very toxic, has PFAS chemicals and many towns in NJ have already banned it. Say no to turf!

    1. This survey and “communication exchange” is just a CYA and to appease residents, making them think they have real input into the decision making process.

But make no mistake, these decisions are already made and you have NO INPUT in the process.
