Ridgewood NJ, The Ridgewood Symphony Orchestra’s string quartet and woodwind quintet performed last month at the Vista, a retirement community in Wyckoff. The appreciative audience enjoyed string performances of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s “A Little Night Music” and Alexander Borodin’s “Notturno.” The woodwinds performed pieces by Francis Poulenc, George Gershwin, Adrien Barthe and William Grant Still.
The Vista concert on Feb. 20 reflects the RSO’s mission to expand the artistic expression of its member musicians, present exciting and affordable concerts to wide-ranging audiences and provide impactful education experiences to all members of the community.
