Ridgewood NJ, it was a beautiful day and the Touch-a-Truck event was a huge success today! Families and children had an absolute blast exploring a variety of vehicles and meeting our local heroes. A massive shoutout to our dedicated Ridgewood Public Works and Parks Divisions, Police Department, Fire Department, Little Ivy Pre-School, and the Ridgewood Chamber of Commerce for their hard work in putting together this incredible event. It was a day filled with laughter, fun, and a strong sense of community spirit!
From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. along the Oak Street side of the park, Ridgewood’s emergency services and public works vehicles were ready for action. Our local heroes were also present to share stories about their exciting day-to-day work. But that’s not all! Kids had a blast at the Safetytown Kiddie-Car Driving Track hosted by the Ridgewood Police Department and Little Ivy Learning Center. Additionally, there was a special Truck Storytime hosted by the
and plenty more exciting activities for everyone to enjoy.
Touch-a-Truck Day was a free community event co-sponsored by the Ridgewood Chamber of Commerce and the Village of Ridgewood. It was coordinated by Little Ivy Learning Center as part of its ongoing commitment to serve our community’s children and their families.

It was great! I hope they do it again next year.
Thank you to those who organized this event.
This is all political just to show the taxpayers where their money is going. It’s a commercial.
My boys are grown and flown but this was always their favorite event. They enjoyed if for several year.
