Ridgewood NJ, according to the Village Manager Heather Mailander the milling of the train station parking lot has been completed; however, it took longer than anticipated.  Therefore, the paving of the lot will take place on Saturday, June 15, 2019.  Both the train station parking lot and the adjacent lot (with an entrance by MacMurphy’s) will be closed until about 6:00 p.m.  There will be parking spaces delineated on Saturday, with the final striping of the spaces being done on Monday, June 17, 2019.  Please make other parking arrangements.

The end result of the construction will be approximately 35 additional parking spaces in the train station lot.  We appreciate your patience and cooperation during the construction.

  1. What about replacing the windows inside the building. They don’t even open, some of them are covered up with plexiglass. Isn’t this a fire hazard. How can this be up to $25 million was spent a few years ago and they never replaced the windows. What a scam. Who is overseeing these jobs. They should be Embarrassed. Just like the taxi stand it’s a shit hole. And it’s owned by the village.
