Ridgewood NJ, a face covering i.e. mask mandate is in place for all Village of Ridgewood owned buildings including the Village Hall . (effective December 30, 2021 – Masks Are Required for All Who Enter Village Buildings – For everyone’s safety, masks must be worn by both vaccinated and unvaccinated persons entering all Village buildings.) At Wednesday nights Council meeting, Councilman Michael Sedon participated in the Work Session held in the Sydney V. Stoldt, Jr. Court Room in Village Hall for 21 minutes without wearing a mask. Councilmen Sedon was the only person in the room without a mask during those 21 minutes. Once again like the Ridgewood Board of Education what message does this send to Village employees and taxpayers? When he was reminded about the mandate, Councilmen Sedon claimed that he’d “lost his mask.”
While most people carry around a couple of backup masks , once in a while you can be caught short . What’s more puzzling is to have a mask rule for a location and not have any backup masks incase of a miscue . Every single business in the world currently has extra masks on location , yet the Village of Ridgewood with its enormous budget does not have an extra mask laying around the Village Hall ?
Once again like the Ridgewood Board of Education on Monday night ,is more a case of ,”do as I say not as I do” or perhaps as some emails to this blog suggest , “shut up and pay”.
Amazing, every entrance of every village building, the law stands that they should have proper face coverings, mask, hand sanitizer, Wake me always said they don’t give a shit about anyone else.
Consider who is running the meeting. The mayor only started wearing a mask when backed into a corner. She was unvaccinated for a long time and having one on one meetings without disclosing this. She has no regard for the seriousness of this pandemic.
We shouldn’t have a mandate. Vax don’t work against Omicron and mask don’t work against anything. Even CDC says so these days. Wake up ppl.
21 minutes without a mask? I think it was more like 23.
We’ve got trouble…right here in River City !
You know these certain individuals think they’re unpatchable will guess what we just have a special meeting and a vote and vote you out Call Office it’s a simple as that. Just remember everyone these individuals work for us.
Do you know what this is not just about Covid this is about respect for others. If certain individuals don’t wanna wear the mask guess what don’t come to the meeting. Stay outside in the parking lot , What do you think the not replaceable please stop.
Follow the rules.
Do you know what this is not just about Covid this is about respect for others. If certain individuals are afraid of catching COVID, guess what don’t come to the meeting. Stay at home in your basement,
What do you think the not replaceable please stop.
The only people that have a right to complain are those within six feet. The rest of the people should mind their own business.
covid is over, time to move on.

It seems the vigilante posters are out in full force here.
The Village Hall definitely has supplies of masks on hand, if you enter main lobby without a mask, you will be provided with one if needed. As well as available in departments along with hand sanitizer bottles for use, in plain view if you need them. As was seen on a visit there other week.
Just say no. Everyone complains about the left’s “ do as i say not as I do”. Stop the bitching and just stop following their unconstitutional rules.
Not every department has that as soon as you walk in the door. They might have those materials hidden somewhere but definitely not right at the door.
