  1. “Name of Parking Garage” Hey PJ you should start contest on naming the garage that the Ridgewood taxpayers are going to be stuck paying for the next 30 years.

    1. that is a great idea

  2. Call it “Money Pit”

  3. Call it “The 3 Amigos “

  4. Boner Garage

  5. Definitely needs a plaque memorializing the names of all Village Council members who voted for this stupidity.

  6. Did Knudsen recuse herself from the discussion on Personnel/Contract Negotiations – PBA Negotiations? She has two sons working for the Ridgewood Police, she’s conflicted. She should have recused herself.

  7. Where’s Boyd acting as the Village conscience and gadfly? He used to call Council members on their conflicts but he just gives this Council a pass. Why?

    1. he is busy watching Jeff Voigt

  8. Guess we need 5-0 votes on berms at Schedler instead of a discussion of our third world roads and parking lots

  9. More like Jeff Voigt is busy watching Boyd.

  10. I’ve never met or spoken with Jeff Voight. But hey, to use your party line, isn’t he just “one vote of five”? I’m sure he’ll be able to explain what really happens behind closed doors someday. In the meantime, you are pushing a narrative that neither asks hard questions of our current Council or follows the money trail on Schedler, the Elks HQ purchase, the old Town Garage purchase discussions, or the explosive growth in Ridgewood municipal debt just as our credit ratings are under review for downgrade and interest rates on our municipal debt approach 3%. That’s over $1.6 million just in annual interest payments for 2019 or 3% of our $50 mm municipal budget. Interest costs are rising, yet our Council budgets for declining interest expenses, suggesting falsely that interest expenses will decline from $1.6 mm in 2019 to only $1.45 mm in 2020. Where are you and Boyd on these issues?

  11. Or how the hell healthbarn got into a public park. That money trail should be followed. Who is paying who?!!?

  12. Add that to the list James. You’ve gone soft. What do these people have on you? No more investigative journalism exposing their hypocrisy. So disappointing.

  13. “THESE PEOPLE” are totally out of control. They can neither hear, say , or say anything in opposition to the things that 2 Councils ago was made into a mission complete. And as I have said before, our lawyer seems to be in league with those long ago councils as he has made absolutely no effort to impede the total destruction of Ridgewood. In actuality, neither has the present council. They all think Ridgewood has endless money, both to be wasted or spent outrageously with little or no citizen participation. However, I did talk to one Ridgewood long term resident who has absolutely no idea what’s going on in the schools or in taxes except that hers have quadrupled since they bought their house. She, and her friend who agreed with her, both assume the library is going to be updated totally on voluntarily contributions. I offered to send them the latest quotes on the library and they both said “Oh, well”. They both have money coming out of their ears. If this is the way the ‘WEALTHY” half of Ridgewood thinks, we’re in trouble appealing anything.

  14. Please do Not name the Parking garage after any of its supporters. That would be like Trump’s quote “I’m going to build a great big beautiful wall and, who knows, they might even name it after me.”

    1. there are not that many supporters , you are screwed because of the lack of parking for the high density housing
