Ridgewood NJ, Ridgewood Water ensures the safety and trust of the clients its serves by requiring all employees (like Joe, pictured) to carry photo ID cards and drive vehicles that are clearly marked with Ridgewood Water logo. This practice allows residents to easily identify legitimate Ridgewood Water personnel, whether they are performing routine maintenance, responding to service calls or working on infrastructure projects. Have any doubts? Ask to see the employee’s ID!

That is excellent, especially with all the crazy things that are going on in this world today. But what about the rest of the departments because I know for a fact that there are a few departments that don’t even have the proper ID.

Some employees wonder why it takes so long to get proper identification. It’s amazing how employees at McDonald’s have better IDs then some of the departments in the village of Ridgewood that is civil service/government.
    It’s kind of embarrassment.

It’s amazing how some people put thumbs down on this, employees have been waiting years to get a proper ID, Can’t understand why it takes so long, in the past excuses excuses, the machine is down. I’m too busy, please stop the bullshit, if you get arrested, immediately your fingerprinted they got your picture. Paperwork is all completed real fast. Isn’t that funny. IT knucklehead can’t handle it let the police department do it.

Yes, all village employees and all village vehicles should be marked, there’s no excuse, I know we had a situation in the past regarding a supervisor vehicle wasn’t marked. That situation has been resolved. But it took some time unnecessary time, there’s a little sneaky business going on there. But don’t you worry our eyeballs are on everyone, and we mean everyone.

Isn’t it amazing howThe Departments are treated so different than others. This is why morale is down in the gutter.
