Glen Rock NJ, October 25, at 3:23 PM , Sgt. Greg Carter was dispatched to the scene of a hit-and-run motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Ackerman Avenue and Maple Avenue. A 2022 Mitsubishi, driven by a Monsey NY man, had been struck from behind while stopped for the traffic light on westbound Ackerman at Maple Avenue. The driver of the other vehicle, a 2022 Tesla, stopped briefly then left the scene.
Sgt. Carter was able to identify the vehicle and its operator, a 43-year-old Ridgewood woman, who was issued a summons for leaving the scene of an accident. The driver of the Mitsubishi complained of neck pain, however, he refused medical attention.
