Irvington NJ, NJ State Police are Seeking Public’s Assistance with Fatal Hit-and-Run Crash Investigation. The New Jersey State Police is seeking the public’s assistance with a fatal hit-and-run motor vehicle crash investigation that occurred on the Garden State Parkway on Monday, October 9.
Hawthorne NJ, Chief James W. Knepper announced that criminal charges have been filed against Juan Martinez Gonzalez of Hawthorne, New Jersey for his involvement in a hit-and-run crash that occurred in the evening hours on June 28, 2023, in the area of Wagaraw Road and Passaic Street in Hawthorne, New Jersey. Juan Martinez Gonzalez is charged with Second-Degree Leaving the Scene of an Accident Resulting in Death of Another; Third-Degree Causing Death or Injury While Unlicensed; Third-Degree Endangering an Injured Victim; and Fourth-Degree Driving While Suspended.
Glen Rock NJ, on Saturday the 29th of June at 3:21 PM – The driver of a white 2014 Nissan Pathfinder reported being the victim of a hit-and-run motor vehicle accident which occurred at the intersection of Maple Avenue and South Highwood Avenue. The hit-and-run vehicle, described only as a small dark sedan, reportedly pulled into traffic from South Highwood onto Maple Avenue striking the complainant’s vehicle. Glen Rock NJ, October 25, at 3:23 PM , Sgt. Greg Carter was dispatched to the scene of a hit-and-run motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Ackerman Avenue and Maple Avenue. A 2022 Mitsubishi, driven by a Monsey NY man, had been struck from behind while stopped for the traffic light on westbound Ackerman at Maple Avenue. The driver of the other vehicle, a 2022 Tesla, stopped briefly then left the scene.
Glen Rock NJ, on Thursday September 30th at 3:34 PM a 13-year-old Ridgewood boy was knocked off his bicycle by a passing vehicle at the intersection of Ackerman Avenue and Broad Street. The boy was not sure if the motorist was aware that their vehicle made contact with him, and he was only able to describe it as a darker colored sedan. He sustained a minor scrape, which was treated on scene by the officer who contacted the boy’s mother. The mother declined further medical treatment for her son.

Glen Rock NJ, on Sunday July 18th at 12:39 PM , while investigating a report of vehicles blocking traffic at the intersection of Rock Road and Marlboro Road, Glen Rock Special Officer James Harte came across a road rage incident which had just occurred. A 21-year-old Saddle Brooke man reported that he was attempting to park his vehicle when the driver of a white pickup truck damaged his vehicle and assaulted him. The pickup truck had left the scene prior to the officer’s arrival.
Lodi NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced that ARDIAN HOTI (DOB: 5/11/1998; single; restaurant employee) of 109 Hobart Street, Ridgefield Park, NJ; FERO HOTI (DOB: 04/01/1997; single; unemployed) of 109 Hobart Street, Ridgefield Park, NJ; JULIO PENA (DOB: 3/01/1998; single; unemployed) of 73 Hackensack Avenue, Ridgefield Park, NJ; CHRISTIAN REYES (DOB: 10/14/1998; single; sales representative) of 12 East Winant Avenue, Ridgefield Park, NJ; and KEVIN AGUDELO (DOB: 12/23/1998; single; retail sales) of 132 Teaneck Road, Ridgefield Park, NJ have been charged with Aggravated Manslaughter and Endangering an Injured Victim. The charges are the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office under the direction of Sheriff Anthony Cureton.
Paramus NJ, on Friday March 26 approximately 1 pm a Grey Toyota (?) stopped short hitting a BMW on Oradell Avenue between Pascack Road and Forest Avenue, the BMW drivers says the other driver slammed on his breaks then sped away from the totaled BMW.
Glen Rock NJ, Saturday March 27th at 1:10 p.m. Glen Rock Police Patrols were dispatched to a hit and run motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Maple Avenue and Waldron Avenue. Upon arrival a Prospect Park woman recounted that she was driving south on Maple Avenue when the vehicle in front of her stopped short to yield for a bicyclist. The woman was unable to stop in time and struck the vehicle. The vehicle. described as a grey VW Atlas, fled the scene south on Maple Avenue.
Hackensack NJ, The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Hackensack Police Department are requesting information from the public regarding a hit and run collision which resulted in the victim suffering fatal injuries.
Glen Rock NJ, on Wednesday January 13th at 12:36 p.m. a Carlstadt man reported the the Glen Rock Police that his 2015 Black Chevy Camaro was struck by a hit and run vehicle while parked in the commercial parking lot at 266 Harristown Road. An unknown witness told the owner that it may have been struck by a black Hyundai Sonata, however, the witness did not remain on scene to be interviewed by the responding officer. P.O. Sarah Orsita did locate a vehicle fitting the description, however, the owner denied any involvement. Glen Rock NJ, the Glen Rock Police Department is investigating a hit-and-run motor vehicle accident that occurred on Maple Ave in front of Wilde Park on November 6th at 11:30pm. It appears that an unknown vehicle was traveling north on Maple Ave and struck a telephone pole which caused the pole to break in half. The vehicle then fled the scene of the accident and continued north on Maple Ave. Anyone with any information on the accident or vehicle involved is asked to contact Traffic Sergeant McGovern at 201-652-3800.
