Ridgewood NJ, Ridgewood’s junior standout, Johnny Jackson, achieved a momentous milestone in the thrilling victory against Hackensack on Thursday, surpassing 1,000 career points for the Maroons.
Entering the game needing just seven points, Jackson easily exceeded expectations, amassing an impressive 26 points from the floor.
Amid the intense competition against the formidable Hackensack Comets, Jackson’s focus was likely on steering Ridgewood to victory. The game saw both teams engaged in a fierce battle during the initial two quarters, with Hackensack securing a one-point lead at halftime, but the Maroons pulled it out in the second half edging out the comments 55-51 for the win.
