This move is part of the brokerage’s ongoing expansion into northern New Jersey and beyond, solidifying its presence in the region.
A long-time Ridgewood resident, RJ Konner brings over 25 years of expertise in residential and commercial property sales to Christie’s International Real Estate Group. Known for his outstanding salesmanship, RJ’s career began in the early 1970s in the automobile industry. As a third-generation automobile dealer, he managed numerous Malcolm Konner dealerships across Essex, Morris, and Bergen Counties. In 1985, his success earned him the prestigious Young Leadership & Excellence Award from the Automotive Hall of Fame, where he remains a Life Member.
Transitioning to real estate, RJ became a licensed Realtor-Associate® and now serves clients with his vast knowledge and experience. He is a member of the Greater Bergen REALTORS® and NJMLS and has a long-standing commitment to community service. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Ridgewood Guild and has a deep history of involvement with Rotary International, the Paramus Chamber of Commerce, and various philanthropic efforts.
In addition to his real estate career, RJ’s love for film led him to pursue acting in 2007. Since then, he has appeared in over 85 feature films, television series, and commercials, working with some of the top talents in the industry. His dedication to the arts is evident through his 14-year involvement with the Ridgewood Guild International Film Festival committee.
RJ’s mission is clear: to provide exceptional real estate services with integrity and reliability. Known for his community involvement, philanthropy, and dedication to clients, RJ is an expert negotiator committed to keeping his clients’ needs as his top priority.
When he’s not assisting clients, RJ can be seen around town in his vintage Corvette or enjoying coffee with friends. He is the proud father of three Ridgewood High School graduates and a beloved grandfather known as “Poppy.”
