Road Rage Incident Leads to Hit and Run, Driver Alleges Assault After He is Located in Glen Rock

Glen Rock NJ, on Sunday July 18th at 12:39 PM , while investigating a report of vehicles blocking traffic at the intersection of Rock Road and Marlboro Road, Glen Rock Special Officer James Harte came across a road rage incident which had just occurred.  A 21-year-old Saddle Brooke man reported that he was attempting to park his vehicle when the driver of a white pickup truck damaged his vehicle and assaulted him. The pickup truck had left the scene prior to the officer’s arrival.

P.O. Anna Marie Mattina subsequently located the driver of the pickup truck. The driver, a 40-year-old Glen Rock man, claimed that words were exchanged and that he was assaulted.

No independent witnesses to the alleged assaults could be located.  Both men were advised of their right to sign a complaint with the Glen Rock Municipal Court.  At the time of the report neither was interested in doing so, no injuries were reported.
