Rochelle Park NJ, a vehicle fire in Rochelle Park early Wednesday morning (Jan. 29) quickly spread to a single-family home, leaving it uninhabitable and destroying two vehicles in the driveway.
The incident occurred on the 100 block of Becker Avenue, where Rochelle Park Police officers safely evacuated the home’s sole occupant before firefighters arrived.
Fire Spreads from Vehicle to Home
The blaze, which started in one vehicle, spread to a second car and then to the rear of the house, causing extensive damage.
Fire crews from the Rochelle Park Fire Department, assisted by several nearby municipalities, worked to contain the fire. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
