Route 17 Southbound Ramp from Lake Street to be Closed and Detoured Beginning Monday Morning in Ramsey

Ramsey NJ, the Route 17 southbound ramp from Lake Street is scheduled to be closed and detoured beginning at 9 a.m. Monday, January 30 in Ramsey, Bergen County.
The closure is necessary for drainage work and is expected to be in place for approximately one month.

The following detour will be in place:
Lake Street to Route 17 southbound detour:
• Motorists on Lake Street wishing to take the ramp to Route 17 southbound will be directed
to continue on Lake Avenue, which becomes East Crescent Avenue
• Take the ramp to Route 17 northbound
• Take the exit to Lake Street/Ramsey
• Continue on Lake Street
• Turn right onto East Crescent Avenue
• Take the ramp to Route 17 southbound

The work is part of a $10.5 million state-funded maintenance project to repair stormwater facilities at various locations in eight counties throughout North Jersey.
The precise timing of the work is subject to change due to weather or other factors.
