Rutgers recruiting: Scarlet Knights turn up pursuit of Ridgewood’s Jamal Locke
Jamal Locke is known in large part for what he has accomplished from the quarterback position. But it’s his projected skill-set on the defensive side of the football that college recruiters are most excited by. The 6-foot, 182-pound Ridgewood (N.J.) athlete has recently seized interest from the Scarlet Knights as they look to further pad their depth in the defensive backfield.
Locke, whose father Jason played defensive end and outside linebacker for Rutgers in the late 90’s, has high interest in the Rutgers program.

ABR… anywhere but Rutgers.
Good kid, good family. He’ll make a good choice. Congrat’s to him being named The Record’s Athlete of the Week today.
