  1. This is really exciting and I cannot wait to hear about all of the natural beauty on the land!

  2. And you can see the house the town is buying just north of this property. Be a parking lot??

  3. Sunday is supposed to be a gorgeous day as far as weather is concerned. For anyone who wants to get a glimmer of this lovely stretch of land and understand why it is so precious, they should come out for a look and participate in the walk with informative dialogue.

    1. Guess you dont live near it.
You prbly drive a tesla & live in a big luxury condo, and dont appreciate nature.
Ridgewood does NOT need yet another fsports field and parking lot

  5. LOL- this POS piece of land would be better off as a WaWa

    2. Wow, that is cold. You must be a very unhappy person if you take pleasure in posting comments like that about an interesting event. I feel very sorry for you.

  6. Truly a DUMB idea to make this a large, turf, multi-field sports complex. Anyone with a tenth of a brain should visit and see for themselves. 1) Location: lack of direct access, it’s a real hassle getting to and from this area. 2)SAFETY: Zero pedestrian/bike access unless you cross a major vehicle Route and pray you don’t become road kill. 3)POLLUTION: The highway fumes are unbearable and strong lingering stench . 4)NOISE: This property is literally on a major highway. Not a single park user will be able to hear anything but massive 18 wheelers (I counted 15 in 3min), commercial trucks and cars whizzing past at minimum 65mph.

    1. Don’t forget….
      In Ridgewood, we are:
      RICH and STUPID

  7. Tour of a property nobody has walked on in 20 years.
If you want to win the fight for Schedler, you should be heading to Trenton.
The fight is to prevent the overturning of the historic designation.

    Hi Denise! Go for it!

  9. Is channel 12 news going to be there?

  10. Not for nothing as they say in Jersey, but I have seen the same comment about going to Trenton almost every time there has been a post about Schedler. My feeling is, if you have the time to keep posting the same comment over and yet your message seems to be limited to criticising others. Not constructive or productive.
