Trenton NJ, Not since the Jim Mc Greevey era has corruption been so bad , that the state’s Attorney General and State Commission of Investigation, “a legislative agency focused on taxpayer waste, public corruption and organized crime” have separately launched investigations into corruption at Governor Phil Murphy’s Schools Development Authority. But the question remains , “Will we get an honest accounting or a political cover-up? “
According to North Jersey Media both the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office and the State Commission of Investigation, are investigating Phil Murphy’s Schools Development Authority.
The dual inquiries add outside scrutiny on the schools authority, an agency that has already drawn negative attention for months first for its very mysterious hiring of a former Murphy campaign aide accused of sexual assault and, more recently, for a controversial restructuring under Chief Executive Officer Lizette Delgado-Polanco.
North Jersey media claims the focus of the investigations is the hiring practices of unqualified Democrat affiliated employees and additionally allegations of employee file tampering at the state’s Schools Development Authority.
