On February 18, 2026, Noah Aranzamendi, 27, was sentenced to 30 months in federal prison. The sentence follows his role in a two-year conspiracy that targeted mailboxes across Bergen County and beyond, resulting in over $240,000 in losses to local victims and financial institutions.

Pennsylvania Fire Bug Charged in East Rutherford Hotel Fire

East Ruherford NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of 36-year-old SEAN P. MCDERMOTT, with recent addresses in Tobyhanna, PA and East Moriches, NY, on charges of attempted aggravated arson, attempted arson, and creating a risk of widespread injury or damage. The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, under the direction of Chief Jeff Angermeyer, and the East Rutherford Police Department, under the direction of Chief Dennis Rivelli.

Ridgewood  NJ – Ridgewood Crew dominated the 2026 New Jersey Indoor Rowing Championships on Sunday, claiming the top spot in four of six juniors events and taking the overall fastest team title in the boys category. This event, also known as the Haddon Hammer, was hosted at Haddon Township High School and this year featured nearly 260 youth athletes from 14 different clubs across New Jersey, all racing on individual rowing machines. Ridgewood Crew fielded 39 athletes across middle and high school categories, making it the second-largest team to compete.
