Microsoft Dismantles Lumma Malware Operation Affecting 394,000 Windows Devices Globally

Redmond Wa, in a major win against global cybercrime, Microsoft announced that it has dismantled the Lumma Stealer malware infrastructure, with support from international law enforcement and key tech industry partners. The malware infected over 394,000 Windows computers across the globe between March 16 and May 16, according to Microsoft’s Digital Crimes Unit (DCU).

New York State Cracks Down on Fake Plates: Over 3,300 Tickets Issued in “Operation Plate Check”

Fort lee NJ, Governor Kathy Hochul recently announced the results of the first-ever “Operation Plate Check,” a weeklong statewide enforcement campaign aimed at identifying and penalizing drivers using fraudulent license plates and fake temporary tags. Led by the New York State Police in collaboration with the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) and various law enforcement agencies, the operation resulted in over 3,300 tickets issued between April 26 and May 3, 2025.

Trenton NJ,  President Donald Trump must intervene in the threatened strike of NJ Transit workers, Assemblyman Bob Auth says.

With contract negotiations at stalemate over wages, the NJ Transit Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen plan to strike as early as May 16. The National Mediation Board has called both sides to meet on May 12 in Washington, D.C. to reach an agreement.
