Ho-Ho-Kus NJ, the Bergen Prosecutors Office and the Ho-Ho-Kus Police Department are requesting information from the public regarding a hit-and-run collision, which resulted in the victim sustaining serious injuries.
At approximately 6:50 p.m. on Tuesday, November 26, 2019, the Ho-Ho-Kus Police Department received a report of a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle at the intersection of North Maple Avenue and First Street. Upon arrival, officers observed the victim lying on the edge of the roadway with serious injuries. The victim, a 57 year-old female, was transported to Hackensack University Medical Center for treatment of her injuries.
Surveillance video recovered from the area indicates that the victim was struck by a red coupe or sedan, which is depicted in the above photo. The suspect vehicle is believed to be either a 2009 Infiniti G37, a 2013-2015 Honda Accord, or a 2018-2019 Hyundai Sonata. The vehicle then fled the scene northbound on North Maple Avenue after the collision.

A red car with a dent…shouldn’t be too hard to find…
I hope this individual is going to be OK. But we need to know more details was the individual walking in the crosswalk did they have their head down did they look both ways before walking why are they on the phone did they have ear plugs on. Because these are becoming big issues with people getting hit not always the drivers fault. I’m not taking sides I’m just saying.
