SHOULD THE BOE CHANGE THE SCHOOL ELECTION DATE FROM APRIL TO NOVEMBER?

Come to a public info session next Monday night, October 7, to learn about the law and give the Board input. The info session will be held as part of the Regular Public Meeting, at the Ed Center, 49 Cottage Place, starting at 7:30 p.m. Details can be found on the district’s website at www.ridgewood.k12.nj.us.

  1. Unbelievable; the BOE actually asking for public input. This has got to be a first.

  2. It doesn’t matter. If the people vote down the budget, the Village Council has the BOE put some cosmetic fixes on the budget then approves it. Why the Village Council has final say on the BOE budget is a mystery to me.

  3. They’re doing it because if they do, they will no longer have to have a budget vote.

  4. Yes! It will save money and probably increase turnout.
