Waldwick NJ, Saturday afternoon just past 4:30 the Waldwick, NJ Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to a working house fire on Moore Avenue. First arriving apparatus found a heavy volume of fire extending from the front of the house and the B side.
An aggressive attack with minimal manpower kept the fire from spreading to nearby homes. A second and third alarm were sounded to bring additional manpower to the scene as relief and coverage of the Boro in case of additional alarms.
All Waldwick Fire Department apparatus responded to the scene. There were no reported injuries and the occupants were able to evacuate the home safely.
