Not even 72hrs later and it’s like there was never a water break. Good as new! Great job Veolia and all the subs, Paramus DPW and 1st responders that made this happen! Roadway was reopened around 11pm on the July 26th.

  1. Great job indeed. It can be done. Contrast this with the Duck Pond rehab which has been going on well over a year and still looks like garbage.

  2. It’s called organization, trained and certified workers.
That’s what the village is lacking.

    1. It’s a county park. What does the village have to do with the project?

  3. Yes we all know it’s a county project, but everything that the county owns in Ridgewood is last on its list In repairing or maintaining. Why is that. This is nothing no this is been going on for 30 years.

  4. It has a lot to do with the village, haven’t you noticed everything that Bergen County owns in the village has gone to disrepair. County parks, county Brooks, county roads, the village is the last town that Bergen county worries about. Has been going on for a longtime. Someone up top just them off. We wonder who.

  5. Yes so very true.

  6. Bergen county roads in Ridgewood are a mess. Why is that. Can someone explain.

      1. are you implying the the roads in Ridgewood are not a mess? Lower Linwood near Paramus road and Franklin in the CBD are an embarrassing disaster

        1. No, it’s implying that the original poster thinks Ridgewood roads are bad because those are the roads they travel on, thereby confirming their preconceived ideas.

The fact is that ALL north jersey roads are terrible.
